[Barny Cusp] Failing to successfully shop for Xmas presents continues unabated here. johnny’s rushing out to get a birthday gift he sorta remembered in time so I’m left to fill in these paragraphs with filler.

Gaming - Fallout 3 for the Sony PS3 continues to impress with them finally getting around to including the trophies (the PS3 version of achievements - a term used almost ubiquitously elsewhere). However they didn’t bother to make them retrospective as far as I can tell so I guess at some stage I’m going to have to start again (again) and make up Completionist McCompulsion to go out and get them all. Maybe. Or maybe be not. When our new product becomes hideiously popular this sort of malarkey will be a thing of the past. Companies won’t dare bring out new games without a full set of achievements in place (okay, I can’t work out why Sony doesn’t already insist on it but still…).
