“Touchdown!”

[Barny Cusp] It’s Superbowl SunMonday where the world watches as burly Americans (and one ex-AFL Ozzie) strap on too much padding and hit each other before having a congratulatory hug and a bit of a rest before doing it again. Also, there’s a football game on. It’s finished here but I won’t mention anything about it in case someone’s taped it to watch later. I can’t think of having to watch a game that interminable and having the ending already spoiled would be any more fun.

It’s still pretty warm here. I do distinctly remember movingĀ  3,000 kilometres to get away from this sort of weather but, like a zombie slasher in a foggy, flood-lit fores, it seems to have caught up with me. Blast it.

So here’s a comic. I’m going to go sit in a small child’s wading pool to cool off.

Meltdown

[Barny Cusp] As in, I need to get this comic up before either myself or the computer dies of heatstroke. So no real preamble today except to say that if this is what global warming is helping to cause then I’m moving to the snow fields.

Here’s a comic to cool you down. No, I don’t know how that might work.

Through the Looking Glass

[Barny Cusp] It’s Rabbit Hole Day in the blogosphere. Well, technically it was yesterday here but I was too hung over to do anything aboutit. So today I’ll blog in haiku.

The Information
Superhighway exists to
spread them weirdo memes.

The comic today
Offers no little insight
Or big one either.

Some game companies
Treat us all like teenagers
You know who you are.

The philosophy
presented within three frames
Is fictional (ish)

Except in the case of the dog. But he’s a terminator now so it’s kinda hard to understand why he’d like boobs anyway. Maybe he’s complex.
